They form a legal agreement between you and Bamboo Ark, owned and operated by David Harvey. By browsing the site, creating an account or placing an order, you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We suggest you save or print a copy for your records.

Bamboo Ark is an online store selling bamboo products for the home, kitchen, bathroom and garden. You may use bamboo-ark.com for your own personal and lawful purposes. You agree not to use the site in any way that damages it, interferes with other users, breaks any law, or attempts to gain access to systems or accounts that are not yours. You do not need an account to buy from us, but an account makes reordering easier. When you create one, you must give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. You can close your account at any time by emailing us.

Products And Descriptions

We describe every product as clearly and honestly as we can, including size, finish and care instructions. Bamboo is a natural material, so grain, tone and shade vary from piece to piece. Small differences in colour and pattern are normal and are not faults. Product photographs are for illustration, and colours can look different on different screens. Sizes are approximate and may vary slightly within normal manufacturing tolerance. We reserve the right to correct errors in descriptions, images or specifications at any time.

Prices And Availability

All prices are shown on the product page in the currency displayed at checkout. Prices may change at any time, but a change will never affect an order we have already accepted. Unless the site says otherwise, prices exclude delivery charges, which are added at checkout, and exclude any import duties or local taxes that may apply in your country. You are responsible for those charges. Stock levels can change quickly. If an item becomes unavailable after you order it, we will contact you to offer a replacement, a delay or a full refund.

Pricing Errors

Despite our best efforts, a small number of items may be priced incorrectly. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will tell you as soon as possible and give you the choice of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it for a full refund. If we cannot reach you, we will treat the order as cancelled and refund you in full.

Placing An Order

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. Our confirmation email is an acknowledgement that we have received your order, not an acceptance of it. The contract between us is formed only when we send you a dispatch notice. We may decline an order if the item is out of stock, if we cannot verify your payment, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If we decline, we will refund any money taken.

Payment

We accept credit cards, MasterCard and PayPal. Payment is taken in full at the time of purchase. All payments are processed through secure third party providers over an SSL protected connection, and we do not store your full card details. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel the order or hold the goods until payment clears. Placing an order confirms that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.

Delivery

We work with suppliers and fulfilment partners who ship directly to you, which keeps our prices fair. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are estimates only. Delays can happen because of customs checks, weather, courier problems or busy seasonal periods, and these are outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please check your parcel on arrival and tell us within seven days if anything is damaged or missing. Full details are in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Returns And Refunds

Your rights to cancel, return and be refunded are set out in our Return and Refund Policy, which also forms part of these terms. Please read it before you buy.

Reviews And Content You Post

If you post a review, comment or photograph on our site, you confirm that it is your own work, that it is honest, and that it does not contain anything offensive, misleading or unlawful. By posting it you give us permission to display, reproduce and share that content for marketing purposes without payment. We may remove any content we consider unsuitable.

Our Intellectual Property

All text, photographs, graphics, logos and page layouts on bamboo-ark.com belong to Bamboo Ark or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not copy, republish, sell or adapt any part of the site for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Product Use And Care

Bamboo products should be used sensibly and cared for as described on the product page. Most items should be hand washed and dried rather than put in a dishwasher, and should not be left soaking or placed in a microwave or oven unless we state otherwise. Damage caused by misuse or by ignoring care instructions is not covered by a refund.
